Origin

The origin of world’s most appreciated game ‘soccer’ was quite interesting. Earlier it was just a ball game for Chinese, Japanese, Viking, Italian, and Persian, who used to play it in different styles. In 2nd century BC During the Han dynasty Chinese military started a game in which a leather ball was used to kick through a gap in a piece of cloth. soccer game was also used as an activity to sharpen warriors for killing enemies in battle field by the Greeks and Romans.

The most interesting fact about modern soccer game is that in Britain it was originated as a war game. Locals of east of England started a game in which they kicked the several heads of a Danish prince after defeated him in the war. 

For a long time, the game of soccer was played between rival towns and villages in which hundreds of people are allowed to take part, including rights of kicking, punching and every other violent activity.

King Edward 3rd of Britain was totally against the savage nature of soccer, moreover he took possible action in order to stop the kind of brutality used by the participants. Likewise, queen Elizabeth 1 of Britain was also opposed such brutal practices in game. She enacted strict laws against soccer player, in which the accused could sentence to jail for a week and more by penancing in a church.

After thousands of year the same game was re-invented by the English. soccer begin to take shape in England in 1863 when association soccer and rugby soccer split off on their unlike path. After that the first soccer association was founded at the land of England. 

On October 1963 the representative of eleven London schools was sent to the freemason’s tavern with the intention to clarify the confusion by establishing some fundamental rules in order to govern the future matches among them. This step marked the birth of the soccer association, in which eternal disputes like shin-kicking, carrying the ball and tripping took into consideration. 

The first soccer match was played between England and Scotland in 1872, at that time soccer was rarely played outside the UK. The governing body FIFA or Federation International de soccer Association was created on May 21, 1904 in Paris, France for further improvements of the game on international level.
